About Rusty Rea, Founder + Director
In 2019, Rusty and his wife Kelsi founded Heritage Christian Academy, Indiana's first Charlotte Mason micro-school in Mishawaka, IN on the campus of Bethel University. The Academy has since tripled in size and in 2022, Rusty + Kelsi opened Heritage Meeting House, which features a micro-local cafe, meeting space and is also the home of Heritage Children's Library, an 8,000+ volume Preservation Library that is now open to the public.
Rusty graduated from Bethel College (now University) with his degree in Bible.
He has served in cross-cultural ministry in 13 nations, and is an Elder at Hope Church in Atwood, IN and is on the board of Freedom Ministries International. Rusty and Kelsi reside in South Bend, IN with their four children.
